Branchez, the New York based producer has decided to make our Monday with the release of his latest “Truth.” Lately he has been performing at Webster Hall in NYC, most recently accompanying Skrillex while on his Mothership tour last Saturday. I first heard of Branchez from his High You Are (Remix) and since the man has continued to release quality genreless music.
His most recent release “Truth” combines elements of deep house, trap, and R&B and the outcome is a pleasing, upbeat symphony. He uses chopped lyrics over deep tones that resemble house, while incorporating the triple snare and hi-hat that lends a trappy feel to the track.
