Brooklyn native musicians, Ivan Jackson (trumpet) and Conor Rayne (drums) make up the bass-driven, funk and jazz duo, Brasstracks. With an impressive Grammy award on their record, (Production of Chance the Rapper’s “No Problem”) the duo is starting their first headlining tour this month, to promote their 6-track EP, For Those Who Know, Pt. 1. This jam-packed EP features a conglomerate of jazz horns and snare hits, paired perfectly with aspirational lyrics that will make you want to light some candles and set the mood just right. As part of their first tour, Brasstracks will be performing at the Roxy Theatre, along with fellow New York native rapper, S’natra. With their combined skill in multiple live instruments, this is a show that you for sure will not want to miss. The For Those Who Know tour will take place in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 5th.
