Prime Social Group’s Breakaway Music Festival will debut this year on September 14th at Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio and September 21th at FC Dallas Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Tickets for the one day show are $49 for general admission and $119 for VIP.
Breakaway marks Prime Social Groups entry into the all-genre inclusive music festival game like what you’d see at Budweiser’s Made in America or Lollapalooza. While both have marquee dance music names like Bassnectar and Porter Robinson, there are also other offerings like Empire of the Sun and Wu-Tang Clan.
The lineups from Columbus and Dallas are very different, so make sure you take that into account when you’re purchasing tickets.

Our thoughts: The variation of acts, inclusion of rides & attracts and the level of production PSG brings to their events should make Breakway a great first year event. The lineup at the Columbus show and $49 ticket price might be enough to warrant a trip to Ohio, but we’d wait for more names to be announced for the Dallas event.
