Miami Music Week is the perfect intro to an already ridiculous festival that is Ultra. Insane parties, hoards of amazing artists and shows, and an abundance of like-minded people all wanting to dance and rage like they’ve never raged before.
Kicking off Miami Music week just right is Bro Safari’s Animal House. Located in downtown Miami at The Hangar. It’s doors opened in late 2015, and has already hosted a number of top notch electronic artists. Featuring state of the art sound system and lasers, they even hosted Skrillex’s surprise birthday set (was there,) and it was absolutely magical. Now they’re bringing you a slew of dubstep and trap artists to kick the week off right. Check out some more than honorable mentions hitting Monday’s MMW opening day.
Topping the list for the event is non other than the man himself, Bro Safari. Often accompanied on stage with MC Sharpness, the duo know a thing or fifty about throwing a party. Bro Safari has been in the game for a long time, starting with mainly DnB and breaking off into his own unique moombahton, dubstep, and trap sound. Check out the track below. You’ve probably heard it before, but it’s a Bro Safari classic, and it never gets old.
Next up on the ballet is NGHTMRE. He made a tsunami size amount of waves in 2015 and is leading the trap race right now in a big way. From funky head bobbing trap tracks, to massive break your neck heavy hitting tracks, the man is at the top of his game and climbing. Not to mention touring like a madman and hitting every major festival this last year on his way up. Check out his newly released EP below.
Another heavy hitter making a name for himself is Lookas. Named as one of the artists on Rolling Stone’s Top 10 Acts To Watch This Year, he is producing some of the dirtiest, heaviest hitting tracks coming out right now. Also rolling nicely through the festival circuit, he’s a great addition to this stacked line up. Check out “Voyager” below.
Now keep in mind, these are only to name a few. This is just a preview of the incredible talent on this bill. Backing them is also Gent & Jawns, 4B, Mayhem b2b with Ricky Remedy, G Buck, Craze, and some other very special guests. No matter if you’re a trap lord or a new comer, this is not an event to be missed.
