New York City is one of the greatest hubs for the underground electronic scene. At the head of this expanding community, are acclaimed party promoters Alex Neuhausen and Lilly Wolfson. They are the duo that brought the memorable party series known as ‘Secret Loft’ to life. Starting the next phase in their musical adventures, Alex and Lilly have planned for the last three years to forge their brand-new innovative nightlife destination: SILO.
Opening on February 10th, 2023, SILO is an immersive event space that will feature global talent from a variety of genres. Sharing the meaning behind its name, the founders of SILO share that it, “captures the industrial feel of the space and the neighborhood, like a military missile silo. It also feels like a grain silo (big vertical cylinder) turned on its side. As a nice bonus, our previous venue was called ‘Secret Loft’, and SILO shares three out of four letters with that name.” Building on the extreme level of anticipation among NYC residents, SILO has just revealed its initial lineup. This star-studded list includes the iconic Josh Wink, infectious tunes from acid techno figurehead Hiroko Yamamura, and an all-night rager with house music guru Eli Escobar.
In addition to the mesmerizing lineup, SILO’s aesthetic and production atmosphere is a breath of fresh air. It blends a polished inside look with an external industrial appearance, giving off a very authentic feel to attendees. SILO is also a proud supporter of gender equality, collaborating with artistic visionaries like Ariel Lasevoli as well as Hannah Wernher, who’s a seasoned sound and lighting tech. From the brilliant imagination of Alex and Lilly, SILO invites its supporters to get lost in a mind-bending experience of house and techno.
