March 21st & 22nd, 2014 will be the 3rd year Buku Music & Art Project has been in action. As the name states, the festival is not just about music, it’s about artistic expression. Last year goodies included live spray painters, creative stage setups, and a VIP yacht-lounge area. The 2013 line-up included acts like Calvin Harris, Kendrick Lamar, Nero, Icona Pop and so many more all crammed into a intense two day period.
Buku uploaded a “Date Announcement” video which features a well edited mixture of iconic New Orleans landmarks, recap footage from 2013 shows, and purple-heavy Buku logos and graphics. A few WRR writers and street team members attended last year, hopefully we will be there this year too. Check WRR’s home page regularly for more Buku 2014 announcements.
