Even as one of dance music’s younger record labels, Black Butter Records boasts a roster featuring the Grammy-winning Clean Bandit, alongside dance heavyweights, Gorgon City, Rudimental, and Kidnap Kid, amongst many others. The UK-based imprint insists on quality over quantity, and is very particular in who they sign to their roster. Not only is the independent label a force to be reckoned with in terms of releases, but they set themselves apart with their one-of-a-kind parties. Following their takeover of New York City with MATTE, Black Butter Records has announced their next official party, where they will be making the trek to Detroit for the official Movement afterparty.
With Gorgon City and Kidnap Kid in tow, Black Butter Records will be looking to continue the music and the festival vibes going into Memorial Day. The event will not only feature Black Butter’s own artists, but MK and Lee Foss will be playing a special back to back set, something you don’t want to miss. Grab tickets to the official afterparty here, and check out a video of their last party in New York above!
