This video in from VELD festival features Aoki tossing a cake like an Olympic shot put thrower deep into the crowd to hit someone in a wheelchair. Granted the person in the wheelchair was asking for the cake and Aoki wasn’t just targeting someone with a handicap. Impressive throw all around.
Even though Steve Aoki’s shows aren’t exactly DJ sets, the one time that I did go see him was high energy and fun the whole way through. It was very similar to a Major Lazer show in a lot of ways.
