After taking a look at the tracklist for Calvin Harris‘ ’18 Months’ album, I wasn’t surprise to see some massive features. He collaborates with the likes of Kelis, Example, Ellie Goulding, Florence Welch, Ne-Yo, Dizzee Rascal, Ayah Marar, Tinie Tempah, and of course Rihanna who forgot to thank him at the VMA’s. He also features a new co-production with Dillon Francis titled ‘Here 2 China’ (should be interesting) as well as ‘Iron’ with Nicky Romero.
When talking to MTV, Harris had this to say about his October release:
It was a mixture between 18 months studio time and gigs and also it was kind of a point when I stopped performing in a certain way with a band and singing all the time and … just focused on production and DJing. So it made sense to draw that line there and it just happened to be 18 months before I finished the album.
