Calvin Harris won’t let future wife Rita Ora drive his Mclaren 12C sportscar. With good reason too, Ora doesn’t have her drivers license yet and the Mclaren 12C isn’t just another sports car.
Rita Ora’s friends told the Daily Star,
“He’s having none of it. He’s told her when she passes her test he might, just might, let her have a quick spin in it with him in the passenger side.
“But until then she’s got to make do with taking lessons in her friend’s VW.”
The superstar DJ has good reason too, the Mclaren 12C retails at around $249,000.
According to GTSpirit,
The 12C hides a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine delivering 616hp at 7,000rpm and 443lb-ft of torque between 3,000 and 7,000rpm under the bonnet. Those performance figures offer a sprint from zero to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds (3.1 seconds with corsa tires).
