If you haven’t heard yet, CamelPhat and Elderbrook recently teamed up to concoct a track that is everything you could possibly thirst for on the dance floor. And very fittingly, it’s name is “Cola.”
The intoxicating sound of “Cola” instantly blew after its mid June release, where it’s still sitting pretty at #1 on Beatport, Traxsource, DMC Buzz Chart, and BBC Radio 1 Dance Chart. In its debut, BBC’s Danny Howard named it “the hottest track in the world,” and rightfully so. This masterfully mixed house single is pure dynamite, delivering moody and seductive feels, strung along by Elderbrook’s entrancing vocals and a groovy tempo. Out now on Defected Records, we’re claiming “Cola” to be THE house track of summer 2017.
Before they had us all sippin the coca-cola, the three brits behind this hit have been busy releasing similar chart-topping tunes. The duo that makes up CamelPhat saw incredible success with their spring tech house track “Hangin Out with Charlie” as it held on to the #1 spot on Beatport for 7+ weeks, followed by their Gypsy King EP, which saw all of its four tracks hit Beatport’s Top 100 chart. Meanwhile, Elderbrook released his collaboration with Mike Mago, “You Don’t Know Me, Now” and his single “Difficult to Love” received massive remixes from Amtrac, Mr. H, Monsoon Moon, and Nu Aspect X.
Now, get thirsty and listen to “Cola” up top, or watch the lyric video below. You can also purchase the track on Beatport.
