This past week has been a whirlwind for all things Camp Bisco related. Seemingly springing from the dead last Tuesday, the new location on Montage Mountain was revealed to the praise of fans all around. Wednesday, ticket sales were announced, and Thursday the lineup dropped that left our jaws permanently on the ground.
With the sudden surge back to life, information has been a little hard to come by, especially considering the move to the new location. Trying to tackle this potential problem head on, The Disco Biscuits held an AMA on Reddit to try and answer any questions the diehard fan-base might have.
Touching on Camp Bisco and everything TDB-related, you can take a look for yourself and read the full AMA here. Below are some of the most important bits of information we took from the session:
– The entire site will be General Admission, contrary to what the seating chart may say. With the exception of “a small VIP pit”, fans will be able to move anywhere they like throughout the weekend
– The on-site waterpark will be inside the festival grounds and free to use for all guests
– “As it stands” fans will be treated to six sets of The Biscuits (one Thursday set, two Friday sets, and three Saturday sets)
– Sets will end at 3 A.M. each night
– There will (hopefully) be a 24 hour silent disco
– They are still determining if there will be special VIP-only late night sets
– “There are a lot of (jam) bands to be announced in the next wave”
Of course Camp Bisco will be slightly different than in years past, it’s inevitable with the location change. But this year will offer something that last year did not, and that’s another edition of the Bisco we all know and love. Stay tuned here for all CB related news, and keep an eye out in the coming weeks for what’s shaping up to be a big Phase Two release. We’re counting down the days until July 16th and can’t wait to see you all there!
