Space Ibiza die-hards, rejoice — the gang is back together!
After a wildfire of recent rumors, it has been confirmed that Carl Cox has partnered with the legendary group behind the world famous Space Ibiza brand to “bring everything back to where it belongs.” The newly formed team is made up of the owner and founder of Space Ibiza, Pepe Rosello, Dave Browning, Juan Arenas, and Carl Cox.
Although no details have been confirmed on what exactly is to come, Carl Cox said in a statement that Space Ibiza “has always been my home for the last 20 twenty years, and now to pave the new way for the future of Space is really exciting.” While the team can’t yet reveal whether or not they will find a new venue to call home in Ibiza, they made it very clear that this partnership is just the first page in the next chapter of the story of the “best club in the world.”
For those of you who don’t know, Space Ibiza was one of the most legendary clubs to ever exist, not only on the white isle, but in the world. For 30 years, it stood as a right of passage for Ibiza newcomers to enter its doors every season. It was Carl Cox’s home for over 20 years, where he held a 15-year residency up until its very last showtime at the club’s final fiesta closing party back in October of 2016. To say that clubbers and lovers of the brand worldwide will not know what to do with themselves if a second coming of Space Ibiza comes to fruition is a complete and total understatement.
