Cashmere Cat, who is pegged as one of WhiteRaverRafting’s artist to watch in 2014, took to Facebook to today to announce an interesting collaboration with the likes of Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa & Jeremih. Luckily our friends over at ThisSongIsSick have a stream of the track for our listening pleasure.
The tune, titled “Party Girls,” provides a sensual vibe through the elegant vocals of Jeremih, while Ludacris and Wiz Khalifa hone in on a deeper tone. Cashmere Cat, who is responsible for the slick instrumental work, goes above and beyond with vocal editing, fills, and percussive elements. This is a very vibe-y take on the 90’s hit, “Barbie Girls.”
According to TSIS the electronic dance world’s favorite Cat has signed with Benny Blanco to work on radio caliber records, so this is only the beginning. Enjoy this stream until “Party Girls” is released.
