Last week Skream said dubstep was dead, but luckily, other pioneers such as Caspa are keeping the light shining. Though Caspa’s latest album “Alpha Omega” was released back in April, his tracks continue to garner popularity for their rooted style but clean and innovative elements. “One by One” off the album is such a track that Caspa does so well.
Ayah Marar‘s vocals work really great on this track. Caspa hits with heavy bass but unlike a lot of American dubstep, there are no screeching synths. Instead, its a beautiful track, filled with piano keys and sub-bass. It has an emotional melody and clean percussion as well.
