CESQEAUX’s HUMAN ERROR EP is a massive feat for the successful artist. Featuring 8-tracks, it displays his unique spin with various genres, him near-entirely blending a heavy disposition across each. CESQEAUX has been slowly showing off releases on a bi-monthly basis, with August 6th being the date he set on for the full reveal. The man knows how to make strong productions and has plenty of practice at it, so many of these tracks having a serious slap factors that are ripe, edgy and fun.
There’s a clear dystopian cyberpunk theme across the EP, a vibe that CESQEAUX brings to life exquisitely. All of the releases are quality tunes, but some personal highlights include, “Just_A_Machine.wav,” and “disconnect.wav.,” the former being the intro track and the ladder the exit track.
“Just_A_Machine.wav” showcases some serious innovation within, using a midtempo structure to articulate fun and fascinating sound design. The branding is clearly indicitive of the glitch-like techtopia theme, but “Just_A_Machine.wav” gives more depth and precision as to what this entails for CESQEAUX.
“disconnect.wav.,” was one that really jumped out. It gets straight to the point and showcases great detail as well as outstanding technical capabilities. The drop is awe-inspiring: metallic samples, unexpected moments, and so much more coming at you unrelentingly.
HUMAN ERROR EP feels far from a bunch of a singles stitched together, but an orderly, well-structured sonic adventure with connective tissue between the songs to give a bigger picture of what it’s all about.
