Sonic Bloom is known as one of the more relaxed, hippy-esque electronic festivals, but we’re hearing reports that this year’s event is anything but peaceful. A microburst has tipped and RV injuring a female inside, while power lines are down and tents trashed.
According to Wikipedia;
A microburst is a very localized column of sinking air, producing damaging divergent and straight-line winds at the surface that are similar to, but distinguishable from, tornadoes, which generally have convergent damage.
Other unverified reports from twitter have mentioned SWAT Teams at the festival and two people rumored as dead. Again these are unverified and purely speculative at this time, but apparently something serious is going on at the festival.
2 dead (rumor), wind gusts that uprooted half the tents (and tore down the power lines), and a naked dude got tazed…so far @ #sonicbloom
