Charlie Darker ranks high on my list of artists to watch for 2013, his style is fresh, complex, and interesting. His sound is a mixture of dirty bass rhythms and grimy sounding synth lines. ‘Anxiety’ is Darker’s latest offering and it’s release came to us yesterday via Steve Aoki‘s Dim Mak imprint.
This tune is an absolute bomb, what catches my ear the most is the melodic break that transforms into an energetic build leading to the second drop. Charlie manages to find the fine line between banger and beauty. Purchase ‘Anxiety’ on iTunes or Beatport.
