Recently Charlie Darker did a Mother’s Day Mix for Société Perrier and lately it’s all I’ve been listening too. The mix opens with 2Pac’s ‘Dear Mama’ and then continues on to included some really creative records. Among my favorite are Darker’s “Anxiety”, Chris Lake’s “Oh Shhh”, Clockwork’s “Tremor”, and most recently released, Knife Party’s “LRAD”.
According to the Perrier’s article this mix is meant to give listeners a feel for Charlie’s live show. He’s been including a bunch of these tracks in his sets while he has been on tour with Popeska and DallasK. If you enjoy these tunes I highly recommend you catch all three of these very talented artists if they stop in a city near you (remaining tour dates below).
