Sounding sharp this week on Program is a pair of singles from Russia’s ChaseR. Making a solid entrance on the label, the producer has put together both “Sensum” and “Avalanche.”
There is a gnawing intensity to “Avalanche,” gathering speed and impact with its impatient synth cuts and commanding drums. We love the richness to “Sensum,” which is a smoother ride. There are some delicious licks of melody scattered throughout, and it hits the spot with each play.
