After releasing tracks with Armada Music, the Parisian duo Chez Moon is here to bring forth their latest track “Games” on Garbo Sound. You can expect to find silky vocals that will vibe with your soul as you’re taken away into a world with a chilled out atmosphere. A perfect mix of captivating chords, ambient sound effects, and smooth bass helps bring this track together, making it perfect for kicking back and relaxing to. We also had the great opportunity to have an exclusive interview with the two who call themselves Chez Moon. Make sure to check it out below as you take a listen to their new release!

Where would you say the sound for Chez Moon originated from?
It’s a sound that we tried to create using both pop and film scoring sensibilities. Blending strings,
analog synths, and Rhodes as a bed to sit under catchy vocal hooks.
What inspired ‘Games’?
Having a job is a great excuse to have no time for your art and have it suffer and never see the light of day or be judged. We don’t have jobs so ‘Games’ and all of our music in general is both liberating and terrifying because we play and make music 100% of the time. A kind of “Game” we play avoiding social pressures to conform….. never!
Are there any things that you always need with you in the studio?
The afternoon is the worst time for creativity so we always need it to be night in the studio!
How do you guys break up the production and DJing?
The music comes really easy when we work together. We can actually get ten times more of a song done while working together then on our own. That relieves pressure or impossible deadlines. A weekend away DJing does not impact how much we can accomplish in the big picture.
What does 2017 have in store for Chez Moon?
We have more singles coming out on Garbo. We are just going to keep our head down and keep writing the music that comes naturally to us. Maybe someone will even like it! 😉
Name a food you can’t live without!
Kentucky Fried Chicken!
Any last words for our readers and your fans?
Don’t hate the player and hopefully don’t hate “Games”!
