Wow. It took me mere seconds to realize this EP would shine light on a Chuckie we’ve never seen before. Yes, ChildsPlay & Chuckie new EP is filled when handfuls of trap-elements, hence the name “TrapHall,” but it’s so much more grand than the titles hints.
The reggae-trap single “Insane” is the initial single that leads to a mind-blowing moment. From the Jackyl “Drain Brain” samples to the hard-hitting horn drop, “Insane,” sends a clear message that this EP in unlike anything you’ve heard before.
Next “Wicked” continues the reggae vibes but takes the drums in a super fresh direction, Chuckie and ChildsPlay include moombahton vibes as well as a precise and melodic drop – an awesome track through-and-through.
“Money” is easily the most traditional trap track on the EP, complete with “more money” vocal samples and insane amounts of bass. The simple and subtle horn melody gives the single an almost Latin-like vibe. However you define, “Money” it’s a highly unique original you’ll be playing again and again.
Saved for last is “Sensimillia,” a track that is truly a fusion of multiple great genres. Moombahton drums, trap tempo, rudeboy vocals; the combo couldn’t get any more eclectic or fit so well together. Chuckie and ChildsPlays brilliantly hit the bulls-eye with “TrapHall EP,” check out the entire release above.
