CHVRCHES (pronounced Churches) is an electro-pop band from Scotland that’s poised to burst onto the scene this year. Members of the BBC’s Sound of 2013 Music List, you’ll fall in love with lead singer Lauren Mayberry’s powerful vocals especially when she asks, ” “If I recover, will you be my comfort?”
The group opened for Passion Pit on tour this year and will be playing at Firefly Music Festival 2013. CHVRCHES is made up of Lauren Mayberry (main vocals, occasionally synthesizers), Iain Cook (synthesizers, vocals), and Martin Doherty (synthesizers, vocals).
The Recover EP will be released on 3/26/13 in the US.
