After the success of Claptone’s first Masquerade show in Australia in 2017, he has decided to come back to Australasia for an extended visit.
Last November, Claptone included Melbourne in newest edition of the Masquerade tour. The inaugural Australian show sold out quickly and proved that the Australian fans were ready for more attention. Showing his appreciation, Claptone put together a five-stop tour that spans all of Australia and even makes a stop in Bali.
Claptone has pulled talent from all over the world to accompany him on his travels. Sydney will be getting a fully themed Masquerade Ball that includes two separate stages and heaps of artists. Run with support from Motorik, it will truly be a night to behold. However, if you can’t make the Sydney show, each stop will still be getting an amazing night designed by the masked man himself. No matter what show you attend, there will be sideshow, carnival type entertainment to amaze your all of senses, even as the music is monopolized by an incredible collection of auditory masters on stage.
Claptone may have had a quiet second half of 2017 as far as releases go, but he’s come out firing in 2018. To go along with his tour, he’s released two new songs within the last two months. “In The Night” was the first cab off the rank and is filled with disco goodness. “Stay The Night” is the darker of the two releases and incorporates some of the mystery that goes along with the Claptone persona.
This tour has left a lasting impression in ever city that it visited in its excursions. The Masquerade label precedes itself and each show promises to be a night unlike any other. Tickets are going fast so be sure to grab them as soon as you can. Dates are listed below.
