Yesterday, March 10th, 2014, Walt Disney Records announced via their social media accounts that they will be releasing an album of classic Disney songs remixed by some of electronic dance music’s biggest names.
Properly titled “Dconstructed,” this work will feature renditions of tunes that shaped your childhood memories through the eyes of acts like Armin van Buuren, Avicii, BT, Mat Zo, Kaskade, and many others. While there hasn’t been much information revealed about this project as of yet, Mat Zo did say on Twitter that he has created a drum & bass cut of Elton John’s “Circle Of Life” (featured in The Lion King movie).
You can pre-order the a physical copy of “Dconstructed” now via Amazon as it’s set to release on April 22nd.
