Two years and 104 shows ago, Claude VonStroke embarked on an endeavor to bring Dirtybird Record’s music out of the club and on to the internet. Through his weekly radio-show, “The Birdhouse,” VonStroke introduces fans to new artists and producers both on his record label and throughout the international tech-house scene. Ever since that fateful day in 2015, VonStroke has dropped a new episode every Thursday morning – straight from his Venice Beach studio to streaming services like MixCloud and iTunes.
To celebrate the show’s two year anniversary, the 105th episode – aired September 14 – features a live recording excerpt from VonStroke’s birthday set at Amnesia in Ibiza – because does it even get more festive than that?
