By this point in time, nearly every major media outlet has covered the world of EDM in some capacity, and now CNN joins the list.
Lead journalist and host of CNN’s edgy investigative series, “This is Life with Lisa Ling”, Ling uses the show to explore unique American sub-cultures in search of “ordinary people with extraordinary lives”. In the most recent episode of the show, she takes her focus to the culture of EDM.

In the episode titled “Electronic Woodstock”, she attends Mysteryland 2015 and conducts interviews with various festival attendees and festival performers. While many journalists have reported on EDM events over the last few years, Ling brings a unique perspective — she herself was immersed in the early 90’s rave scene as a young woman.
The episode is certainly an interesting watch, and it features cameos from some of our favorite artists.
