Having just kicked off the season this past April with a highly-successful two-weekend event, Coachella Music and Arts Festival is already thinking ahead to next year, and has just announced their dates for 2015. Prospective attendees will be thrilled to know that it will be taking place over two weekends again, with the scheduled dates being set for the weekends of April 10-12th, as well as April 17-19th. The Advance-sale for the festival will also begin this Friday, May 16th at 10a.m. PDT.
Renowned for its exotic location in Indio Valley, California, Coachella is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated events in the western part of the United States, it bringing in a slew of esteemed and distinguished performers of various diverse genres of music. In addition to headliners Arcade Fire and the recently reunited Outkast, as well as the range of Indie-Rock and Alternative style artists that are inherent of the festival, several noteworthy electronic artists such as Skrillex, Disclosure, Fatboy Slim, and Calvin Harris (who drew in the second largest crowd in Coachella history) made an impression on the event.
Last year’s event was nothing short of extraordinary (fake Daft Punk appearance and all), and it seems as though the hype and excitement for next year will be starting again as of right now.
More information about the festival and the Advance Sale can be found on the Coachella website.
