Coachella 2018 is less than a month away, so here are some MUST SEE performances from 10 women of EDM.
Peggy Gou
Berlin based Korean DJ who has been slaying all around the world in the underground realms. In a unique way, she mixes 90s house and techno with broken beats, sometimes sprinkling a little Korean rap in their. Expect a lot of dancing and good vibes at her set.
Yaeji
Korean-American singer, rapper, producer, and DJ based in Brooklyn, New York. She fuses elements of deep house music with English and Korean hip-hop lyrics, to give you a one of kind, wide-ranged experience.
The Black Madonna
A well respected DJ and producer who began her career in the late 90’s, but is still generating plenty of noise years later. She is known for her deep disco and techno sound, along with her contagious energy and her unique ability to engage with her crowd.
Avalon Emerson
Arizona born native who taught herself how to write, produce, and engineer music while recording in her friend’s band. Through her DJ Sets, she takes you on a timeless journey of wonder and excitement by mixing sounds of new wave and future techno with heavy, pulsating rhythms.
Hannah Wants
British house DJ and producer who is known for her underground garage and bass-boosted sound. Her Jackin’ House DJ sets will have you dancing all night.
Elohim
LA based singer/songwriter who combines synth-electronic pop with her own relatable lyrics, to provide a one of a kind live show filled with live instruments and live singing.
Hito
The Japanese born and raised DJ who plays deep techno while dressed in a traditional Kimono. Did we mention, she keeps it classical and only spins vinyls?
Kittens
Fool’s Gold member and DJ who blends eclectic and future beats with heavy rap. This will be her festival debut so expect her to go big.
Rezz
-22 year old Canadian DJ and producer who has been called the “Female Gesaffelstein”, thanks to her sinister techno sound. If you remember Gesaffelstein’s last live performance at Coachella 2015, you’ll for sure not want to miss out on Rezz’s first Coachella set.
Alison Wonderland
-Australian DJ, producer, and singer who has made Coachella history as the highest billed female DJ. This will be her second time performing at Coachella but with a new album coming in a couple weeks, there’s no doubt she’ll be brining new sounds to the stage this year.
