Starting off the year with a reality-bending fusion of electronic production, vocals, and instruments, COFRESI has unveiled his new single “I’M NOT”. Throughout the exotic dance anthem, transcendent echoing is joined by a spirited beat that allows listeners to achieve a state of auditory bliss and relaxation. This experimental artist intertwines digital and acoustic percussion with sublime effects in “I’M NOT”. The entire track radiates positive vibes that go hand-in-hand with a long drive, a day at the beach, and many other environments.
Speaking on how the concept for “I’M NOT” was sparked, COFRESI shares, “the initial idea for “I’M NOT came together the day after I saw Polo & Pan perform at Radius in Chicago. I was getting deeper into the city’s music scene then and exploring more dance-focused artists. Polo & Pan’s approach to their live show and music struck a chord in me, and this tune was essentially an application of that inspiration.”
Even though “I’M NOT” is the first release for COFRESI in 2023, he has some massive plans that lie ahead. “I’M NOT” is actually a sneak preview of COFRESI’s upcoming EP, AGENDA. With this six-song compilation dropping on April 6th, COFRESI aims to further his uplifting influence on EDM community in the future.
