Coka Cobra & Walschlager Follow Up Their Collaboration ‘Drop This,’ With ‘Turn It Up’

Two rising talents have made a juggernaut of a bass release in, “Turn It Up.” Out August 2021, the tune follows up a release between the two of them with a similar power level, “Drop This.” “Turn It Up,” builds in multiple genres within it’s fold to produce the well-execute vibe that it is. A bit of reggae vocal samples, slick basslines, and speed house inclusions all come into play to start the fire on this one. Evoking a sense of confidence through it’s sonic hypnotism, this behemoth is staged to be replayed again and again with those that it infects.

A joint message from the two electronic musicians goes as follows:

Coka Cobra’s rise from the underground has been hard to ignore. The Canada-based DJ/producer – currently residing in Vancouver – has an unmerciful and edgy feel about him. He’s been recognized from his many works, charting on Beatport’s Bass House category, gaining support from names like 4B and AC Slater, and the like. The man knows how to hit the nail on the head when it comes to consistent bass releases that simply feel like his style.

Walschlager has his own story to share. The Detroit-based artist has been producing music from the age of 12, his teenage life much spent in front of a computer on a DAW. The passion for DJing soon followed. A tragic house fire set him back in some materialistic ways, but his passion for making an impact within electronic music only grew greater. Today he’s been supported by names such as Whipped Cream, Dirty Radio, ALRT, Jynx, Brothel, Vermyllion, and this just scratches the surface of his success.

More is set to come from both artists here, “Turn It Up,” being a nice piece of action representing two fine styles.
