Underground London venue Corsica Studios is putting on Individual Collective’s 3rd birthday on Saturday 4th February. This creative space set up in between two railway arches in increasingly gentrified Elephant and Castle is a favourite of many South London locals because of its renowned soundsystem.
Individual Collective’s birthday events have graced the hallowed halls of Corsica for two years and Germany-based techno star Kangding Ray, as well as Ancient Methods, is set to return for the celebrations. With his new 10 song album HYPER OPAL MANTIS to be released on the 24th of February this year, Kangding Ray’s performance is predicted to be bursting with new hard techno tracks.
David Letellier has been busy, to say the least, since the release of critically acclaimed Solens Arc in 2014, which included dirty techno classics such as “Serendipity March” and “Amber Decay”. “EPSILON” from the 2017 album has already gained traction for electronic lovers and is one likely to be picked up for remix.
Industrial techno sound Ancient Methods has also been a regular at IC’s birthdays and recently released 21 minute EP The First Siren will provide its fuzzy sounding electric beats at Corsica next Saturday. Advance tickets have already sold out, but tickets will be available on the door for those who in need of some funky fresh techno until 6am on Saturday 4th February.
