Roughly a half hour ago CounterPoint made a slight lineup change announcement via their social media accounts. Mat Zo has been added to the lineup in place of Rustie, who had to withdraw for undisclosed reasons. While we’re sad to see Rustie go, we’re stoked about the addition of Zo. His “Damage Control” album dominated music charts and hearts of listeners worldwide last November. Mat brings a unique energy to every event and his passion for dance music is evident.

Mat Zo will be attending CounterPoint Music Festival and bringing a wrecking ball with him to shatter what you’d normally expect to hear out of your typical DJ set! His innovative, genre-blurring album, ‘Damage Control’ was the #1 Dance Album on iTunes and he was also recently hailed as Dancing Astronaut‘s Top 50 Biggest Artists of 2013!
With the good comes the bad, and this is no exception – Rustie has had to pull off the lineup. He will be missed, but we are thrilled to bring the legendary Mat Zo to the CounterPoint Stage!
