With less than a day to go until Untold Festival’s fifth edition, we’re taking a look at their exclusive shows to see just what we’re in for the weekend.
It wouldn’t be a wholesome anniversary without a few unique shows, and since Untold is celebrating its 5th, organizers made sure there’ll be plenty to remember about this year. Each day has its own surprise, so let’s dig right into it.
Beginning on the Unbelievable Thursday, we’ll get the chance to see a special performance from 3 Are Legend, the trio composed of Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. First, DVLM will bring the fire to Cluj-Napoca at 4 am, only to be soon joined by Aoki. After the one hour set of 3 Are Legend, we’ll also get to see Aoki by himself. So not only are the 3 DJs playing the Main Stage at Untold separately, but they’ll also play together. Talk about mixing and matching!
Next up is the Legendary Friday. If you’ve followed Untold around, you already know that Armin van Buuren is a fan favorite here and the crowd is his favorite as well. After playing an astonishing 7-hour set last year, this time he’s stepping his game up. We’re not sure what he’s preparing, but he did mention that a few friends will join him on stage. And to make sure he has plenty of time to enjoy the fest, he’s getting on stage at midnight and planning on sticking around until de sunrise. They call it Legendary Friday but maaybe it should be called Armin’s Friday. Nevertheless, fans are over the top with excitement to see what the Dutch DJ has in store for them.
Magical Saturday will be more chill. Performances from Mike Perry, the long-awaited band Bastille, Don Diablo, and Fedde Le Grand will make sure it’s not a day to forget either. But if Saturday gives us a chance to take a breather when it comes to exclusive shows, just wait to see what the last day of the fest has in store.
It’s not called Supreme Sunday for nothing, is it? Well, an exclusive show of none other than Robbie Williams will make the crowd go crazy. We’ve even heard a rumor that he’s bringing 150 people with him on stage. If that isn’t an exclusive show, what is? We’re seriously looking forward to be entertained (yes, pun intended). And that’s not the last of it because after follows Nicky Romero, who’s joining Untold for the very first time and David Guetta who’s returning after being a headliner at the first edition. And since they can’t let us lose the enthusiasm in the last hours, Martin Garrix is also returning to the Untold Realm with the four Exclusive Show. What’s Exclusive about it? No worries, we’ll find out and let you know soon after Untold closes its gates.
This year’s edition promises a lot and it will surely deliver.
