Today via Jay-Z’s Life + Times lifestyle blog, up-and-coming EDM duo Coyote Kisses released a 30-minute mixtape entitled “Summer Mix”. These guys have been blowing up recently, just dropping their “Thundercolor” EP only a few short months ago. They have a very unique, melodic sound, with influences of trance, dubstep, glitch, electro, and more. “Summer Mix” epitomizes this culmination of sounds with great tracks perfect for hot summer days or cool nights.
The mix contains Coyote Kisses originals and other tracks of their favorite artists, as well as some unreleased tracks, such as a three tracks simply entitled “WIP” (Work in Progress). Other tracks include “Beautician” by Dillon Francis and a remix by Baauer.
“We only very rarely disagree on tracks, so picking songs for this mixtape was left primarily to Joe. I [Bryce] was busy working on some new works in progress and Joe’s always liked doing this sort of thing. Being able to split tasks between us like this becomes a necessity at a certain point.
