Out now and bringing us some bass-fueled joy this week is “Trouble” from Karol Tip, an artist with the backing of Flosstradamus, RL Grime and Baauer. He presents this new release through Crispy Crust Records, a label that we’ve been digging over the past twelve months.
“Trouble” features the killer tones of Josie-Claire, who fronted the electro-pop band Josie for a total of seven years. It is a tune that fuses vibrant vocals with a dynamic, groove-laden bassline – we can’t get enough.
Karol Tip says:
Trouble is one of the most original records I’ve produced so far. It all began with a festival show from Claire, where I first saw Josie performing. Working with her amazing voice in the mid-tempo range was a special and very unique experience for me.
