This afternoon, Wednesday, May 14, Dada Life’s Stefan Engblom took to Instagram thumbs up and smiling to finally update his followers on the status of his abrupt hospitalization back in March. In the heat of Miami Music Week Stefan was rushed to Sweden for emergency surgery on his abdomen, upping the count of world renown DJs needing hospitalization during Ultra once more. Unlike the rest though Stefan will be facing life-long consequences from his surgery, but not even the loss of a major intestine can get this guy down! He was “Born to Rage.”
So I’ve been absent for a while now while at the hospital. This is what happened: I had to remove my whole large intestine since the Doctors found cell changes in it. I now (have) an ostomy and will have to learn to live with it. I’m not worried though, I was born to rage and it will work! I’m still weak but getting better each day! Most importantly, thank you all for the great support… Has really helped reading all your messages!
