This image of Daft Punk in attendance at Swedish House Mafia’s final performance went viral last night (view more photos). Since then, the legendary duo have consumed the conversations of believers and haters alike.
Today the official Twitter account of Ultra Music Festival hinted at a possible return for Ultra 2014, before later deleting the tweet. For now it’s all just speculation but the evidence at hand is fairly strong. Signing to Columbia Records (affiliated with Ultra) + attended SHM final set as guests + recent confirmation of new album + this tweet. Cue the haters chalking it up to coincidence and poor journalism on our part, but I’d say this is more convincing than ever before. Daft Punk Ultra 2014? 🙂
