About two hours ago, someone logged onto the Daft Punk facebook page and updated the profile picture and cover image with the artwork shown above. The cover image on Facebook has the Columbia Records logo on the bottom right.
The artwork has to be the cover for the new Daft Punk album that’s supposed to come out Spring 2013. Their website daftpunk.com also features the same mysterious artwork. There are no links to other pages.
If you were expecting a ton of information… sorry it’s just not Daft Punk’s style. If the record is released through Columbia Records this year, there is a very unique tie between that label and Ultra Music that could evolve into something very exciting.
