Danny Avila has an extensive list of musical achievements for only being 22 years old. At the age of 13 he was already producing music and by 14 he moved to Madrid and was scoring gigs in clubs before being legally allowed into them. His music is extremely diverse and covers a variety of genres from drum & bass to big-room and from tech-house to trap. With a lively production sound and a unique DJ style, he is a breath of fresh air in a world where so many artists are happy to stick to the same formula. He has released music on massive labels including Interscope, Musical Freedom, Spinnin’ Records, and Ultra Music as well as performed at some of the most legendary festivals in the world, including Coachella, Ultra, EDC, Electric Zoo, Creamfields, TomorrowWorld, Parookaville, and ZoukOut. Not to mention, he holds the record for youngest resident DJ at Hakkasan Nightclub in Las Vegas and the youngest artist to ever make the cover mount CD for DJ Mag UK.
2017 has been an exceedingly strong year for Danny after signing his first official record label with Sony International as the biggest Spanish act on their roster. He is also the official ambassador and judge for NYDJAY, a massive DJ contest in Europe. He recently finished up one of his most wide-reaching projects to date, Style Sessions. Since July, Danny has broadcasted a series of DJ sets via Facebook live, presenting his own interpretation of various genres and moods. I love to play long sets and mix up the genres. I was lucky enough to be asked by Tiesto to join him at Pacha, Ibiza and would play these crazy long sets and I just developed a real taste for all kinds of music.
