Danny Olson has brought about a defining EP featuring 5 stellar songs. Packed with with cinematic design, all which are collaborations with stunning talents, Club Cinema goes big in all the right ways. The self-released EP is one of his biggest drops to date, sharing forward thinking bass tracks back to back. With each track having plenty of juice to make it stand on it’s own feet, there’s certainly an arc that can been sensed across the entirety of the EP, giving off a “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts,” type of vibe all things considered.
Vo Williams, David Frank and Daemon were the 3 collaboration partners featured, each of them meshing their own style with that of Danny Olson in a balance and brilliant manner.
Danny Olson had this to share on the release
“During the evolution of my brand, sound, and identity as an artist, one constant question always remained: How do I create a world in which orchestral and electronic music are one? Exploring this has been my most important endeavor, and I believe that Club Cinema is the first true chapter of that story. Club Cinema represents a juxtaposition of many different emotions, just as a cinematic or nightlife experience would. At the core is passion, but also present are fervor, inspiration, intrigue and drama. I do not believe that my sound is mono-dynamic and if I continue to successfully integrate these two genres, the result may sound very different in the future than it does today. However, that’s the point.. if evolution, growth and honesty have taken place, my brand, sound and identity will all be exactly where they’re meant to be.”
