Darq E Freaker is a name firmly established in the grime scene, and the East London based producer knows exactly what he’s doing when it comes to making fresh beats. With previous releases of his landing on Big Dada and Southern Hospitality, he now self-releases two new tracks.
“Red Velvet” and “Butterscotch” are two electrifying cuts of future bass, with award-winning artist Eric J Dubowski having mixed them both. The first is packed with short snatches of 808s and uncompromising swagger, whilst “Butterscotch” brings a clever blend of UK and US dance influences – produced with effortless clarity.
