Das Energi is right around the corner (quite literally, kicking off tomorrow at 5pm) and we couldn’t be more excited. We were so excited, we decided to throw together a playlist of some of our favorite tracks from artists you’ll be seeing this weekend. Some well known tracks from artists we all know very well, and love, to some tracks from artists you may not have heard of, but we think you absolutely should give a listen to.
Here’s a few particular tracks that really get our feet moving and our blood flowing.
First up is Gareth Emery’s remix to Tritonal’s “Getaway.” The already addictive track is given new life with a bigger build and heavier progressive house feel. Fast paced and melodic, with the original vocals intact. This is an instant party starter. Gareth is set to close out day two of Das from 12:30 to 2am on the inside stage Synergy Station.
Next up we’ve got a banger from Destructo. The HARD events CEO and West Coast house DJ has been doing at it since the 90’s, and is still incredibly relevant to this day. His track “Beatdown” featuring Wax Motif is a steppers dream, and has a deep down low sound, almost deep house, almost tech house feel. Destructo is set to grace the decks on Energi Field from 9 to 10PM on day one.
Next we have Elephante. Elephante has been in the game for a number of years now, and he’s finally starting to get the bigger recognition we think he deserves. This remix of his to MIIA’s “Dynasty” is a progressive house masterpiece. Taking a slower, entrancing track and turning into an upbeat, vocal manipulated head-bobber. (also check out his remix to The Magician’s “Sunlight,” a super classic. Elephante is set to blaze Energi Field on day one from 6 to 7pm.
Next we have an artist we’re really excited to see, Ilan Bluestone. The Anjunabeats artist easily earns his place on the label, and his place on the trance charts. We’ve already seen him multiple times this festival season, and we’re always excited to see him with every new fest and lineup. His track “Bigger Than Love” has been huge for the 2016 festival circuit and has been on the forefront of his sets. Great simple lyrics and lullaby like synths lead you into an emotional trance drop. Ilan is set to blow away Synergi Station on day 2 from 10 to 11:15pm.
We were only gonna write up four songs for artists we’re excited for, but we absolutely did not want to leave out Nora En Pure. We saw her for the first time earlier this year at an intimate show in Ft. Lauderdale and boy did she throw down. We also got to meet her, and she was incredibly humble, not to mention gorgeous. The indie and deep house producer does it all, and does it well. Her track “Lake Arrowhead” is easily a favorite of ours. It’s an uplifting track, with some background elements that just feel dark and gritty. Catch us at her set from 7 to 8pm on day one at Energi Field.
