Frontman of Dash Berlin, Jeffrey Sutorius was unexpectedly arrested during his show at Penthauz Night Life Club in Pune, India last night. The police took him into short custody to verify his work visa, and then he was free to go.This show was actually the last stop on his India tour, before heading to Sunburn Festival in Delhi. Seems as though customs would have verified the visa much sooner than his second-to-last show in the country.
There were some rumors that Sutorius had slapped the cop, but this fan-captured video shows him leaving peacefully and with a smile on his face. The only people that seem to be getting rowdy are the fans, who start chanting “Berlin” as soon as he’s taken outside. Since the arrest was so unexpected, it caused some chaos and confusion among the groups. Dash Berlin however, has no hard feelings about the situation saying “I love India, no matter what.”
