Dash Berlin originally captured our hearts with the release of his heart-tugging love ballad, “Shelter” from the highly-acclaimed album, We Are. Dash has us digging up those old feelings yet again with the release of “Shelter (Remixes, Pt. 2),” featuring touching renditions from trance’s elite, Yoel Lewis and Solis & Sean Truby.
The remix pack includes the original masterpiece, along with two remixes. First up is Yoel Lewis’ take on the love song. Lewis showcases his trance and progressive house style, opening the track with an upbeat progressive house kick and gradually slowing it down to truly showcase Roxanne Emery’s beautiful raw vocals. The remix pack follows with Solis & Sean Truby’s version, which similar to Lewis’ exhibits a high energy bassline, that in turn breaks down into an uplifting trance power ballad.
As of late, Dash Berlin has been merging old school and new school vibes, which we saw with his recent release “Home“. Similarly, Dash’s revamped remixes of “Shelter”, gives his longtime fans the chance to rediscover the classic track and the new generation of trance family a nice concoction of old and new.
