This past summer, Datsik unleashed his formidable collaboration, “Monster” with the duo 1000volts. Comprised of hip-hop artist Redman, and producer Jayceeoh, 1000volts is the the pair that have been overtaking the scene in recent months. So far, they’ve been featured on a couple mixes with Diplo and even released their own original “I’m Gone” back in May. When you fuse the talents of these producers with the renowned Datsik, you receive the carefully produced and ever intense release that is “Monster”. By effectively combining elements of both rap and bass these three artists have formulated a powerhouse of a track that was highly played in festivals sets this summer. It caters to the Datsik productions that fans have fallen in love with while still showcasing the creative talent of 1000volts.
Making the launch of this track even more extreme came the news that Dubloadz and BadKlaat had been chosen to set loose two official remixes for the production. Moreover, Jayceeoh is credited on both tracks so we know his production input was also catered to on both releases. BadKlaat starts us off with a full throttle headbanger that’ll leave your neck aching after a few listens through. He drives the bass into fifth gear to deliver a remix that can affirmatively be defined as fire. Next, Dubloadz displays his creative talent with a fast paced production that reflects his signature style. It features high pitched vocals and the hard-hitting Dubloadz drums that have become a staple in his productions.
