We’re huge fans of Pleasurekraft, so we’re not really sure when we first heard the track “Alien Body Double” whether it was in a live set, podcast, or maybe in Adam Beyer’s set at Time Warp, but when we did, we fell hard. You could say, we felt as though we were falling from the cosmos, riding a wormhole into a journey of existential bliss! But we don’t want to be too dramatic.
“Alien Body Double” which Dave Sinner collaborated with Pleasurekraft, and released the EP Between Now And Never on their label Kraftek, is a bloody journey, riding into Valhalla. It’s everything. The title track goes by of acid, rising into a resounding bass beat that goes into a melodic uptick that will have to smashing the floor. Riding it out with “Cygnus” gets more raw, more unhinged, like a call into the night, as the darkness falls piercing into the Universe. We love them all.
