David Guetta & MORTEN Pay Tribute to Avicii’s “Heaven” with Progressive House Remix

Fans knew Avicii’s “Heaven” was going to be an emotional track when it was released this past June. The heartfelt single was released as a melodic and progressive anthem that captivated the Avicii sound we all fell in love with. It was everything fans could have hoped for after Avicii’s untimely death in 2018. A month after the release of “Heaven” came the album Avicii was working on prior to his death, Tim.

Fans have been waiting eagerly after the news that several heavy hitting producers had been tapped to deliver official remixes off the album. One of those remixes released yesterday comes from David Guetta and MORTEN, who has remixed and collaborated with Avicii previously. The mix features all too familiar synths and an explosive progressive house drop that is sure to make waves in the progressive house sphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better spin on an already classic track and we’re now edging for more official remixes from the album.
