After offering fans the chilled out “Superstar” only a matter of weeks ago, Dutch DJ and producer De Hofnar makes a solid return with his next single release. Once again out through Crosswalk Records, “Fireburn” is an 80’s influenced deep house tune with bags of style.
Bethany Barber’s vocals ring out in commanding style here, and the progressive nature of “Fireburn” means that its melody meanders with funk and groove. Sharply rhythmical and given plenty of dynamic texture, De Hofnar’s audience will be pleased to hear that this one will be part of his forthcoming EP.
