You know those songs that are super catchy? You can not get that song out of your head no matter how hard you try.
Death Team‘s new song Messed Up encompasses that bill, and I could not be more excited. The Swedish duo have struck gold again, the first being with their first single “Fucking Bitches in the Hood.”
The video for their new single “Messed Up” debuted in late November. Maja Edelbring (stage name Mayka) and Johen Rafael Tilli showcase their eclectic style in this neutral toned, 90’s style video. The song is about the and all the pathways that your brain travels while drunk, and the people that come in and out of your life while in pursuit of the bottle.
Different areas of Death Team‘s home town of Stockholm are shown in the video. The director includes a showcase of BMX riders, and a dirty public pool that adds a nice contrasting aesthetic to their one of a kind video.
Mayka and Johen were just nominated for a P3 Gold Award, which is the equivalent to a “Best Group of the Year” nomination. The band had a fantastic year in 2016, and with bangers like “Messed Up” their is no where to go but up.
